View Art Installations At The Goldwell Open Air Museum
Goldwell Open Air Museum is a free outdoor sculpture park near Death Valley National Park in California. This is a non-profit museum organized in 2000 after the death of Albert Szukalski, the Belgian artist who created ghostly sculptures. The most notable work being his rendition of The Last Supper in ghostly form. This was especially haunting against the stormy sky the day that we went.

Visit the Ghost Town of Amboy
The ghost town of Amboy was once a major stop along Route 66 until Interstate 40 was opened. The city only has 10 remaining buildings, Roy's gas station and motel cafe being the biggest landmarks. You can stop in for a Root Beer and wander through some of the abandoned hotel rooms with art installations.
Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch
Elmer’s bottle tree ranch is just off highway 40 on Route 66. It’s a plot of land filled will artistic trees made from old collected bottles and found objects. Elmer inherited these bottles from his father who collected them and other antiques. He turned this junk into over 200 art installations free for all to explore.
4 days at Burning Man 2016: da Vinci's Workshop
If I could describe Burning Man in one word it'd be "surreal." In fact, the whole festival feels a bit like stepping into a Dali painting. I admit, I was skeptical even through my first day and half of being there. Now I'm convinced it's one of those experiences that you'll covet forever.
